to my friend and mentor Justo Faison of Justo's
Mixtape Awards, who died in car accident while on a promotional
tour of the East coast. His death was a shock to me and everybody
who's lives he touched during his outstanding life. He made a career
out of supporting DJs and uplifted the mixtape game to new heights.
His Mixtape Awards are now in their 10th year. Thank you Justo for
all of your support and advice, and most importantly your friendship!
